Our Love Story

The Mile High City, founded at the confluence of two rivers in the 1800s, Denver has always been a draw for travelers with a spirit for adventure. The mountain peaks lure hikers to the top, skiers to the inclines, and rafters to the whitewater. Before heading west, most travelers pass through Denver’s historic Union Station, which anchors one end of Denver business district and the Grand Hyatt the other.

Stroll along the 16^th street pedestrian mall while enjoying the sunshine that Denver delivers 300 days each year. Arriving at the Grand Hyatt you will be welcomed by our hosts who will be quick to share their personal favorite must-sees. Enjoy a concert under a star-filled sky at Red Rocks Ampitheater. Confirmation of Space and Deposits

An initial non-refundable deposit of twenty-five

percent (25%) of estimated charges is required to confirm your date along with a signed contract.

Ceremony Rehearsal

A rehearsal ceremony will be scheduled the day

prior to your wedding. If the contracted ceremony

space is not available, every reasonable

accommodation will be made to relocate and

execute the rehearsal inside of the hotel.

Guest Accommodations
A room block may be setup for guests attending your event. A minimum of ten guestrooms must be guaranteed or the prevailing hotel rate will be offered. Check in time is 3:00pm, and check out time is 12pm. If you would like to setup a block of rooms, please contact your Wedding Specialist for rates and availability.

Welcome Packets & Gift Bags

The following prices apply to any gifts delivered to guestrooms:

In-Room Delivery – Personalized: $5 per room

In-Room Delivery – Generic: $4 per room

Outside or Under Door: $3 per room

Over the desk deliveries: $2 per room

Guarantees

A final guarantee guest count is due by 11:00am ten (10) business days prior to your wedding. Once received this number may not be reduced. We will prepare to serve 3% over the guaranteed number.

Vendors

We require all vendors to deliver flowers, cakes,

audio visual and any other items no sooner than

two hours prior to your scheduled event.

All items must be removed following the event,

unless arrangements have been made with your

wedding specialist. All vendors must supply their

own equipment for setup.

Parking

Grand Hyatt Denver is happy to offer valet parking for overnight and event guests.

Discounted Valet Parking is offered for day of

wedding guests.

Outside Food & Beverage

All food and beverage must be supplied by the hotel. No food or beverage may be brought into the hotel by guests attending the wedding.

Wedding Specialist

When reserving your wedding here at the hotel, you will be working very closely with Celia Smith, your own personal wedding specialist, who will help guide you on the journey to your perfect day.

Final Pre-Payment

Final pre-payment in the form of a cashier’s check,

money order, personal check, credit card or cash

is due at least ten (10) business days prior to the

wedding date.
